News and Interesting Stuff

WOW!  What a great Sunday of remembrance!!!!  Fabulous music!  Fabulous message!  Fabulous firefighters worshipping with us and a great opportunity in Sunday School to reflect on where we were on September 11, 2001 and how the events of that day impacted us. 

Welcome Visitors!
It was great to have Patrick and Allison visit our class.  We hope they felt welcomed and will visit again as they look for a Sunday School class that will be just the right fit! 

Dates and Reminders

• Sat, Sept 17 -- Clean up day at the church!  Everyone is invited to come out and help tidy up in and around the church.

• Sat, Sept 17 -- United Methodist Men will have a vendor booth at Kernersville's Honey Bee Festival!  Stop by for lunch (Dogs and Burgers) and contact Jerry H. if you would like to volunteer to help.   

Homecoming Sunday
Next Sunday, Sept 18, is Homecoming!!!   There will be one service at 10:30am.  Jamie P. and Jessica T. are planning to have Sunday School for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, so our class will meet  at 9:30.  Following the service we'll have a big ole covered dish lunch.  So bring something yummy and plan on eating til you pop!
