Well, we've finished Adam Hamilton's "The Journey" and now our own journey through the Advent Season begins!! In the study we learned a lot of details about Mary, Joseph, and the events leading up to the big day. The challenge now will be to focus on the miracle of Jesus and not get caught up in the wrong details. You know, like real vs, artificial, clear vs. color, which store isn't sold out of the Nintendo 3DS, or what to get for Grandma since she never likes anything, anyway!
Dates and Reminders
- Sponsoring a Family for Christmas -- We have 2 families this year!!! Our shopping date is set for Sunday, Dec 11 at 2pm. This is a great family event as we set out in teams to purchase gifts for our adopted families.
- Christmas Party -- Dec 17th at 7pm -- Class Christmas party at Cheryl and Tom's. Everyone is invited to bring an appetizer/snack to share and any "special" beverages you might like to have.
